After years working in the Human Resource world from start-ups to large international organizations and owning her own consulting firm in Bend, Oregon, Annie opened HR Annie Consulting in May of 2010 here in the Portland area. She holds a strong belief in volunteering with past service on various non-profit boards and current work with Chambers of Commerce. Along with solid knowledge and skills in the field of business and human resources, Annie is known for bringing a love of problem solving with a sense of humor, perspective and common sense to our client’s businesses.

For the past 20 years, I have worked in a Human Resource and Training capacity. My career began working in the Ski Industry, continued in the Restaurant Industry, and most recently as a small business owner, myself. I have developed quite a “tool kit” for Human Resource functions including the areas of compliance, recruiting, hiring, training and retention, team building, safety and risk management and supervisor training, as well as employee performance reviews, internal investigations and more. We have an amazing team at HR Annie – our knowledge bank and longevity of experience; our credible relationships with past and present clients; our amazing ability to say it like it is, weaves effortlessly with the needs of our clients. For fun and most importantly, I spend my free time with my family enjoying the amazing offerings of the great Northwest.

Gabrielle Stonecypher brings almost 10 years of operations and human capital leadership expertise to the HR Annie team. She has worked closely with the CEO (or multiple C-Level Executives), helping identify challenges at the organizational level and develop the strategies necessary to resolve them quickly while simultaneously respecting capital investment. She has a bright, can-do attitude in approaching any challenge, consistently focusing on the direct impact to clients and how the all immediate actions will affect the ultimate end result. Gabrielle loves taking part in the amazingness of Portland’s food scene and exploring the PNW (rain or shine) with Ziggy, her labradoodle.

With more than 25 years in the industry, Ana is a customer service professional who thrives on helping people. Her background includes work in administration, sales, and Human Resources. With her outgoing personality and ‘can do’ attitude, Ana is someone who truly enjoys people. Ana believes in going the extra mile for people and that extends far beyond her professional relationships. Ana’s joy in life is spending time with her family and friends, especially her two sons. Ana has learned that working hard, along with treating people with respect and kindness goes a long way in making lasting customers or clients.

Brogan is a communications professional who seeks to grow community from connection. With a background in healthcare, Brogan has served in independent contributor and leadership roles in clinical and hospital system settings in the Pacific Northwest. In these positions, she developed optimization initiatives to streamline processes for efficiency. She has delighted in the opportunity to translate her skills in communication and strategic development into the HR field while working with the HR Annie Consulting team, clients and partners. In her spare time, Brogan enjoys hiking, reading and cooking with her loved ones – including her Black Lab/Pointer mix, Oslo.
